There’s something about the smell of baking in the oven that creates a feeling of comfort and cosiness – and the very act of making something with your hands can improve your mental health.
Baking can form part of a mindful practice called ‘grounding’, where you use an activity to help you connect with the current moment.
For this recipe, you will need:
- 210 grams of dark chocolate
- 65 grams of cocoa powder
- 65 grams of plain flour
- 310g of golden caster sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 60 grams of milk choc chips
- 260 grams of salted butter
- 4 eggs and 1 yolk
