URGENT ACTION REQUIRED – Returning of BOC Medical gas cylinders
As demand for the use of portable oxygen cylinders is increasing once more, it is critical that ALL empty BOC medical gas cylinders are returned/replaced in a timely fashion.
If medical gases need to be exchanged or returned, please contact the Helpdesk on Ext: 1188.
Once logged, the Portering team will collect, remove and replace the cylinders. Areas with departmental Porters are to task those Porters to remove/replace the gas cylinders.

Some wards are requesting more than the required amount of CD portable oxygen cylinders which then limits the stock to distribute to areas that need it most. Please only order the supplies that you require.
