Today’s update is below:
- COVID Vaccination Programme
COVID Vaccination Programme
As discussed in yesterday’s Chief Executive message, the Trust is to be allocated supplies of the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine by the national supply chain, and vaccination clinics will commence on the 29th December.
STHK staff classed as Clinically Extremely Vulnerable (CEV) have already been offered their vaccination at established vaccination hubs at neighbouring Trusts.
Once the vaccine is available at STHK, priority will be given to those members of staff that are classed as clinically vulnerable and most at risk. The remaining groups of staff will then be contacted as soon as possible to arrange their appointment.
Please DO NOT call the Covid Vaccination Helpline or Health, Work and Wellbeing to enquire about receiving your vaccination. Staff will receive an email to their Trust account, or they may be contacted by phone or letter if they do not have a Trust email, to arrange an appointment.
Please be advised that teams and departments will not all be vaccinated at the same time, so some colleagues may receive their invitations before others.
Please do not attend the Vaccination Hub unless you have been contacted directly for an appointment.
We anticipate the vaccination programme will take a number of weeks to complete and will also be dependent on supplies of the vaccine continuing from the national supply chain.
