- No change to COVID safety measures at Trust
No change to COVID safety measures at Trust
Although changes have been announced to COVID-19 restrictions for the general public in England from Thursday 23rd February, the Trust is still awaiting national guidance from the Government on whether any changes will be made to pre-existing guidance in relation to COVID within healthcare settings.
Therefore, no changes will be made to Trust safety measures until further notice.
This means that:
- Staff should continue to follow current self-isolation procedures should they test positive for COVID-19: https://covid.sthk.nhs.uk/self-isolation-guidance/.
- All infection prevention safety measures remain in place including the wearing of surgical face masks, social distancing and working from home where possible.
- Visiting restrictions remain in place across all Trust premises.
Once guidance is received from the Government, any changes will only come into effect once the Trust has reviewed these and is able to make any changes to current practice in a safe and controlled manner. Therefore, staff should continue to follow the current Trust guidance until further notice.
Any changes will be communicated to staff before they come into effect. Please keep up-to-date via the staff COVID update emails, and via the staff COVID website: https://covid.sthk.nhs.uk/
This information will be shared across all local media and on the Trust’s social media channels.
