Media coverage

Tonight, Professor Rowan Pritchard Jones, Medical Director, will appear on BBC North West Tonight discussing the increased pressures facing the Trust as infection rates increase rapidly in our local communities.
The Trust is now treating more COVID positive patients than at any time in the pandemic, and the news item aims to appeal to the local community to follow the Government guidance and be more safety conscious in order to reduce the rate of infection.
The Trust has already expanded Intensive Care capacity, and as of this afternoon has 5 COVID cohort wards (details of ward specialties below).

As ever, your hard work during this challenging time is not taken for granted and we must do all we can to continue to support and look out for each other.

ALL WARDS  – Please can any portable oxygen cylinders that are not in use be returned via the charge hand porter, in order for them to be refilled.
