LAMP Testing

ALL Staff who are taking part in the asymptomatic LAMP Testing programme must continue to follow the guidance relating to PPE and social distancing.

The Trust continues to see and treat Covid positive patients, please do not rest on your laurels – we have come this far so please let’s continue to:

  • Wear the appropriate PPE and wear it correctly
  • Regularly wash and clean hands
  • Maintain a 2m distance where possible

Symptomatic Testing

Any staff member who is symptomatic MUST follow the self isolation process and have a PCR test, even if you are part of the LAMP Testing programme

LAMP Test results – some delays

Technical issues at LCL Laboratory on the 3rd, 4th & 5th March 2021, has led to some staff not getting their LAMP Test results. 

LCL have apologised for any inconvenience caused and assured STHK that this initial teething problem has now been resolved. 

For staff who did not get their results, can you please register again on the LCL link supplied.  This will allow you to access your unique ID for your next sample:

Thereafter your following unique ID number will revert back to being via your results notification SMS or text message.

FIRST and SECOND does Vaccine

Not jabbed yet?

Staff can now receive their first dose Covid Vaccine at Nightingale House, Whiston Hospital. To book your appointment please email STHK.covidvaccination.invite@sthk.nhs.uk (Mon-Fri  8am-5pm) This will be the Oxford Astra/Zeneca vaccine.

Already had first jab?

Staff who have already had their first dose are reminded to please keep their appointments to receive the second dose of the Pfizer Vaccine at Nightingale House, Whiston Hospital. The second dose Pfizer appointments are only available for a limited period and so it is vital that you do not miss your appointment.
