Staff Update 10/11/20

Flu and Covid Vaccine

With the high possibility of a Covid Vaccine being launched in the next few weeks the Trust is urging all staff to prioritise their flu vaccine as you must leave a gap between having the two jabs.

The sooner you have your flu vaccine the sooner you will be able to have the Covid vaccine when it becomes available.

To help you get protected we have increased the number of flu clinics this week. Please see below

All flu vaccine info is available on the staff intranet

Redeployment Hub

Following the increase in Covid-19 patients entering the Trust, the Redeployment Hub has been re-established to support the movement of staff across the Hospital sites as well as any changes to substantive posts due to Covid-19.

The requirement is that if a staff member has any change to their substantive post, job role or hours of work as a result of Covid-19, this must be communicated to the Hub to ensure the correct checks and balances for risk assessments, roster and payroll are enacted.    The manager of the staff member is required to complete the staff redeployment form to support this process.

If you have made any changes to a staff member’s duties or area of work, please complete the form and send it to STHKCOVIDRedeploymentHub@sthk.nhs.uk and the hub will liaise with E-Roster to make the appropriate changes.

Any changes requested directly to E-Roster without the relevant form, will not be made if it is related to a Covid change.

The key contacts for the Redeployment Hub are;

Georgina Cragg-James, HR Business Partner

Emma Radcliffe, Assistant HR Business Partner

Laura Scregg, Redeployment Hub Advisor
