Staff COVID Vaccinations – manager one to one meetings

Since December 2020, the Trust has been inviting all staff to receive their COVID-19 vaccination.

We have had an overwhelming response with over 83% of staff already vaccinated, but we need to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to be protected as early as possible.

We are therefore asking managers to have one to one conversations with all of their staff to see if they have had their vaccine, or to ask whether there is any further information that we can provide to help those staff who are yet to make a decision.

Your manager will contact you in the coming days, so please make sure you take the time to have this important conversation.

Staff COVID Vaccinations – our staff explain why they had the vaccine

17% of staff are yet to have their COVID-19 vaccination. We know there may be a number of reasons for this, but if you have any questions that could help you make your decision, then we are here to help.

No question is a silly question, and our clinical teams are willing to discuss any concerns you may have in confidence. Email: communications@sthk.nhs.uk and we will have your questions answered direct.

In our latest video, staff from across the Trust explain why they chose to have the vaccine. Please take the time to watch this important message, it may help save a life.

Oxford Vaccine Trial

If you took part in the Oxford Vaccine Trial, and have subsequently found out that you received the vaccine as part of this trial, please remember to email: esr.helpdesk@sthk.nhs.uk and inform the team that you do not need further COVID-19 vaccinations.
