MASK RECALL
Please note there is a recall on two types of the IIR masks we have in the Trust:
- Easimask Full Support Type IIR Face Mask – SKU BWM536
Immediate Quarantine of Stock
The trust has received information that we may havethe Easimask Type IIR Face Masks, which are items of PPE that have been centrally distributed from national stocks secured during the response to the pandemic.
These items are to be quarantined with immediate effect whilst the item is reviewed. Batch testing of these masks has identified the need for further testing, to ensure they can be continued to be used in a clinical setting.
Action Required:
Please immediately quarantine these masks and email purchasing@sthk.nhs.uk and title the email “IIR masks” and provide the following:
1) Exact location of where the stock is being quarantined
2) How many boxes you have, of this type of mask
3) How much stock you have of other IIR masks and an estimated amount of days it will last
We will aim to replace all masks quarantined ASAP
Once we have information about the testing from the National Pandemic Store we will advise.
2)Huan EEXI Inherent Type IIR Face Mask – SKU MKTIIR0127
Immediate Quarantine of Stock
The trust has received information that we may have the Huan EEXI Inherent Type IIR Face Mask, which are items of PPE that have been centrally distributed from national stocks secured during the response to the pandemic.
These items are to be quarantined with immediate effect whilst the item is reviewed. Batch testing of these masks has identified the need for further testing, to ensure they can be continued to be used in a clinical setting.
