The Siren Study – final push for recruitment
After a very successful 10 months the Siren Study is closing to recruitment on March 17th.
The Research Team would like to thank the 359 members of staff who are participating in this very important study that is helping us understand how antibodies are protecting us against COVID and how effective vaccination is.
We would like to reach out to colleagues that are underrepresented in the study, so we can ensure that everyone is equally protected. As such, we would like to invite the following staff groups to contact us on ext. 1424 or email research@sthk.nhs.uk to join the study:
Any member of the BAME community
Men in any role within the Trust
Any staff member working in the support services e.g. porters, catering, domestic, security.
Taking part in this study will ensure that you receive a COVID swab test every 2 weeks for a year and an antibody blood test every 4 weeks.
