EPMA Care Bundle available
Two new protocols are available to prescribe for COVID-19 patients entitled ‘symptom control for dying patients’.
The protocol includes morphine (oxycodone if CrCl less than 30 ml/min) for pain, midazolam for SOB/agitation, glycopyronnium for secretions, paracetamol for pyrexia/pain and levomepromazine for nausea and vomiting at lower doses and agitation at higher doses.
